Advanced Care
Advanced Care is a multi-faceted program designed specifically for you, including nutritional supplementation based on your specific labs results.
The first step is a lab series based on your health history and metabolic and neurotransmitter surveys. Typically, the following tests are ordered: immune panels, complete blood chemistries, intestinal permeability test, an adrenal stress index and comprehensive metabolic panels.
Once the results are received and thoroughly analyzed, a program of nutritional supplementation is created for you specific needs to support specific biochemical pathways and lead to improved symptoms through improved function. Additional panels may be ordered to follow your progress.
Brain-Based Therapy (BBT)
Brain-Based Therapy (BBT) is considered to be an innovative breakthrough treatment program that is clinically proven to help those experiencing chronic pain, or balance disorders and other neurological conditions.
Based on providing optimal stimulation to the brain using the optic nerve, Eyelights Therapy uses specialty glasses with flashing lights that fit behind the lens. To strengthen the weaker side of the brain, the lights can be programmed to blink on the non-dominant eye.
Noting that the eye is the most direct avenue to the brain, Eyelights Therapy helps the child’s learning abilities by improving their vision and thus, their ability make the most of their studies. This is in the same vein as improving an athlete’s ability to see aiding in their performance.
“By stimulating the weaker hemisphere of the brain you allow it to become stronger, thus improving overall performance. One method of stimulating the brain is to use light pulses. When using Eyelights you can control the intensity, frequency, and pattern of light pulses, which will result in being able to “wake up” the weaker side of the brain.”
Unilateral Adjusting
Another part of our Advanced Care program is Unilateral Adjusting. By clearly understanding how and why to specifically adjust areas of the spine, we can consistently offer the best possible outcome. Both Dr. Alexa and Dr. John Parker have completed 150 hours of neurologically-based training courses including Unilateral Adjusting therapy.
Triton DTS Spinal Decompression
We also use a computer-guided therapy called Triton DTS Spinal Decompression that gently lengthens and decompresses the spine. This is of great help to our patients who deal with chronic neck and back pain due to disc problems. Triton DTS Spinal Decompression offers effective, long-lasting results for those looking for the complete relief they need to carry out their daily activities without pain.
Interactive Metronome
The last component of our Advanced Care program, Interactive Metronome, helps patients with a number of conditions including MS, Parkinson’s, ADD/HD, learning disorders and stroke rehabilitation. This computer aided, brain-based rehabilitation assessment and training program reprograms and balances the brain to help the patient deal with their condition in a way that improves their performance and quality of life.
